ABOUT ME
My name is Ray Leung.
I am a recent BFA Product Design graduate at Parsons School of Design.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, I first found passion in the field of design after watching the Nike Breaking2 Project back in 2017. Seeing how the Vaporfly Elite, an extremely well engineered, high performance racing shoe with a simplistic silhouette, helped push elite athletes achieve unimagined greatness in the sport of distance running sparked my interest in product design. To this day, the Breaking2 Project and the Vaporfly still have a huge impact on how I approach design, where I am always striving to create goods that perform and function as good as it aesthetically looks.

Breaking2 has also sparked my passion for running.
I have been running competitively for the past 7 years, with personal bests of 4:27 in the Mile, 15:46 in the 5k, and 1:13:41 in the Half Marathon.

Running has made me into who I am today, and it is my dream to become a performance running footwear designer to give back to the sport that has given me a lot of things that I will be forever grateful for.
